Anyone 18+ with curiosity and an awesome idea! We’re open to the public and welcome makers of all experience levels, from complete beginners to seasoned pros. Just complete the required Certification Course for the station you want to use, and you’re good to go.ext goes here

Yes, at this time, you must be at least 18 years of age to use our makerspace.

No prior experience is needed, but before using a station independently, you must complete a Certification Course. These short instructional courses cover the safe and proper use of our tools, enabling you to work with confidence and comfort.

Yes, please bring your own materials for your personal projects. We do provide the basic consumables for each tool (blades, bits, etc.) and also sell selection materials including filament, adhesives, and safety gear. For most projects, we recommend sourcing your own materials.

All stations are reserved in hourly blocks of time through our website. Walk-ins are allowed, but aren’t guaranteed. We highly recommend reserving in advance to secure your spot.

Build Station: power tools and hand tools for woodworking and general DIY
Laser Station: CNC laser
Detail Station: power tools for finishing, detail, and advanced woodworking
3D Print Station: 3D printers and design software
Craft Station: sewing machine, vinyl cutter (+ software), heat press, button maker, wood burner.

Each digital fabrication tool requires its own file types:
Laser Cut: AI, SVG, DXF, PDF, PLT/HPGL.
Laser Engrave: BMP, JPG/JPEG, PNG, GIF, TIF/TIFF
3D Printing: 3MF, STL, STP, OBJ, and SVG (sliced to G-code).
Vinyl Cutter: AI, EPS, PDF, SVG, PNG, JPG, and BMP.

Absolutely. Our crew is always nearby to lend a quick hand, offer a refresher, or help troubleshoot mid-project (up to 15 minutes per hour). If you’d like deeper support, you can book a project consultation.

We don’t currently offer long-term storage, but temporary holding spots may be available for active multi-day projects.
Please coordinate with our staff before leaving anything behind.

For safety reasons, only those who have been certified at a station or participants in a class/event may enter our makerspace rooms. Guests and visitors are welcome to join public workshops or open house events, but not active workstations. If you’re working on a project with someone and you’re both certified to work at a station, you will both need your own reservations.

Basic safety gear including safety glasses and ear protection are required for most stations. We provide some onsite, but we encourage members to bring their own for comfort and fit. Specialty gear (like respirators or gloves) may be required for certain projects.

Yes! You own everything you create at Ghost Rocket Makerspace. We encourage members to use the space to prototype, build, or even produce small-batch runs for their businesses.

Yes. We can host private certification courses, private build sessions, creative team-building events, and group workshops. Reach out to us with your ideas, and we’ll help make it happen.
