How Our Makerspace Works
Making things here is straightforward. You work independently on your own projects, at your own pace, with access to space, tools, and support designed to fit a wide range of creative work.
To get started, choose the tools and space you want access to, choose how often you want to use the makerspace, and then get to making.
If you ever have a question, we're here to help!
1 // CHOOSE THE TOOLS AND SPACE YOU WANT TO ACCESS
Get Basic Shop Access
workspace + everyday tools
Everyone who joins our Makerspace starts with Basic Shop Access. It includes shared workspace, bookable work tables, and everyday tools so you can work independently on your own projects.
You don't need prior experience or a class to get started.

Basic Shop Access is a complete way to work and supports a wide range of projects from planning and prototyping to crafting, assembly, painting, and finishing touches.
Add Station Access
fabrication tools & machinery
Some projects involve specialized fabrication tools and machines. At Ghost Rocket, these are organized into Stations, such as woodworking and DIY building, laser cutting, and 3D printing.
Each Station requires a short Safety & Station Orientation. Once completed, you can book time and use the tools at that Station independently.
2 // CHOOSE HOW OFTEN YOU WANT TO VISIT
Choose access that fits
We offer Day Passes and Monthly Memberships, depending on how often you want to use the Makerspace.
Day Passes are $40 per visit and are a good fit for the occasional or short-term use.
Monthly Memberships range from $150-$250 per month (+ perks!) and work well for ongoing projects and more frequent shop time.
All options include access to our shared workspace, bookable work tables, use of everyday tools, and support nearby when you need it, plus any Stations you can access.

Your First Visit
Your first visit includes a brief shop setup to familiarize you with the space, safety basics, and how things run.
If your access includes a Station, you can first complete the one hour Station Orientation and continue working on your own afterward.
Booking & Visiting
From your member account, you can book a start time to kick off your visit, then stay and work as long as you like during open hours.
You can also reserve work tables, book machine time, and schedule orientations as needed.
Project Support
When you're working in the shop, our crew is always nearby for questions, troubleshooting, setup, or a quick hand.
For more in-depth guidance, book a Project Support Session for dedicated one-on-one time.
