There’s no shortage of creative inspiration in the world. It’s in your feed, your saved posts, your head at 2AM. What’s hard is the actual making, having the space, the tools, the materials, the know-how, or even the confidence to start.
Ghost Rocket Makerspace exists to remove those barriers for every kind of maker, in multiple disciplines, from traditional craft to new creative technologies.
Why We Built Ghost Rocket Makerspace.
Making something is good for you. Modern life burns people out. And one of the first things to go is the urge to create, to build, tinker, experiment, make. We've felt this ourselves.

Ghost Rocket is the answer to that. A place to re-ignite the spark. Where the act of making something, whether by hand or by machine, feels genuinely restorative. Where curiosity is welcome and no one's going to make you feel like you don't belong.
More than tool access or classes.
Intentional space
Ghost Rocket Makerspace was built with intention because where you make things matters. Good light, clean air, organised tools, flexible workstations, project storage, space to work, and sitting areas for when you need to think.
Evolving set-up
From levels to lasers, we’re deliberately building a multi-disciplinary space for both analog and digital making. We add new tools and disciplines thoughtfully, guided by what our community wants to explore and what makes us all excited.
Personalized support
Our crew is made up of makers, designers, and fabricators. The thing that inspires us the most is all of the wild ideas that come through our door! Here, anyone can be a maker. If you have an project, we can help you figure out how go from idea to object.
Inclusive community
We’re a space where everyone belongs: makers, beginners, tinkerers, and everyone in between. No gatekeeping. No intimidation. No “shop bro” culture. Just curious people making epic things and figuring it out together.
The Humans Behind Ghost Rocket Makerspace
Meet our founders, Mike and Bex.
Mike (he/him) is our lead fabricator and the heart & soul of Ghost Rocket Makerspace. As a multidisciplinary maker with a background spanning digital design, web development, and physical fabrication, he’s built exhibits, signage, furniture, cosplay pieces, kid play spaces, and way more things than either of them can count. If it can be made, Mike has probably figured it out.
Bex (she/her) runs the business side of things at Ghost Rocket Makerspace. Bex's background is in the digital and fine arts. With years experience as an agency art director and as a product design leader for global brands and big tech, she's equal parts creative and strategic. You'll also catch her teaching classes, hosting events, or (literally) making her way through her huge list of projects she's "saved for later."
Together, they’ve renovated houses, designed countless physical and digital items, and spent years helping people solve creative problems. Ghost Rocket Makerspace is the culmination of all of it. Built by makers, for makers... and anyone who is just creatively curious.
