Description
This is your starting point for the woodworking and fabrication tools at Ghost Rocket Makerspace. This hands-on intro covers the hand tools and most* common power tools available in our Build area. We focus on safe use, shop practices, and everything you need to work independently. Once you've successfully completed this class and you're certified, you'll be able to book Build time on your own. Plus, you'll receive a **$40 credit to come back.** Use it as a Day Pass within 30 days, or put it toward your first Monthly Membership. One credit per customer. New members only. Valid for 30 days from class date. No experience required. Open to everyone, ages 18+. Tools covered in this class include, and not limited to: mitre saw, table saw, circular saw, band saw, jigsaws, palm sander, belt sander, plus drills and drivers.

Policies & Important Information
This policy applies to all Intro Classes. Booking Policy: Intro Classes are scheduled group sessions with limited capacity. Book your spot online or in-person in advance. Monthly Members receive 25% off all Intro Classes ($60 vs. $80 regular price). Minimum enrolment: If a class does not meet the minimum number of participants, Ghost Rocket reserves the right to cancel or reschedule. Enrolled participants will be notified by email and offered a full refund or transfer to the next available session. Cancellation & Refund Policy: Cancel more than 24 hours before your class for a full refund. Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the class start time are non-refundable. No shows are non-refundable. Rescheduling to a future session of the same class is permitted up to 24 hours before the class start time, subject to availability. No transfers for no-shows. Ghost Rocket Cancellation: If we cancel a class for any reason (low enrolment, instructor unavailable, equipment issues, or other circumstances), enrolled participants will be offered a full refund or a transfer to the next available session.
